Can You Really Do It All On Your Own?

Can you get through life on your own?

In the previous post I discussed that hard work leads to Success but success does not have to be reached alone. Having support from a team, whether that team is family and friends; it is enough to get you through to achieving your goals. You can achieve your goals by yourself, but it is inevitable that you will need help and support along the way. Fulfilling your dream does not have to be accomplished alone, let others help. There are many things in life that you won't be able to get through or change without help, support, and prayers from close and loved ones. God wants us to understand, to be more aware of loving others, letting people in, and accepting help and support from others. Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10 says, "Two can accomplish more than twice as much as one, for the results can be much better. If one falls, the other pulls him up; but if a man falls when he is alone, he’s in trouble ". (LB)

It's easy to read the Bible as just another book, but the Bible is much more than just another book. It paints an entire picture of who God is and his character. He wants to help you. Let Him Help you. Trust in Him. Call on Him! Psalm 32: 8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;  I will counsel you with my loving eye on you". (NIV). So, put your trust in God, He will guide you, only if you let Him! When the road to success gets difficult and obscured do not be discouraged, do not give up, do not move onto something else. Simply stay strong, stand strong and ask God for help! God wants you to learn that He is sufficient in every single situation, in every little or big problem you may face. If you ignore his teachings, He will give you the opportunity again and again; to listen and to learn. Learn from your ways and mistakes.

What in life has been your main focus? What, has kept you from turning to God for help?

Image result for scriptures on receiving helpProverbs 3: 5-6 says, "Trust the Lord with all your heartdo not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take". (NLT). This statement is highly significant for everything you do in life; it is applicable to every situation, every problem, every trial! God is able to help you succeed if you trust Him and do not depend on your own understanding! God will help you succeed in what you want to achieve in life, according to His Will and plans for you. This being what he has called you to do. So to truly be successful you must have Faith in God, Faith that He will help you, guide and bring you through it. Have faith in the Bible, the Word of God.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, I know that I cannot do this all on my own, if I think this, I am only fooling myself. Lord, help me to gain the mindset of a focused life, to get a clear vision of what You want me to do, and to openly seek help from others. In Jesus' Name. Amen!

Having a Better relationship with God

"They were to look for God... and find Him because He is not far from each one of us. It is in Him that we live and move and keep on living". Acts 17:27 (NLV). You know that you want a better relationship with God, you just don't know how. God is always available to you if you "..seek Him with all your heart" (Deuteronomy 4:29). You personally need to make time to read God's Word every day ! It might not be easy but it is worth it! Between the busyness of life e.g work, school activities, church, volunteering etc.. You need to make the time to be in His Word. Just You and Him. It clearly declares in the Bible "Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty, is divided between God and the world". James 4:8 (NLT). God wants us to know him! That's a fact! Here are some tips on how you can have a Better relationship with God: 1. Schedule God's Word- Write a s...

Bad Company Corrupts Good Character!

Yes, there is a need to avoid Bad Company. 1 Corinthians 15: 33 says this " Do not be misled:  “Bad company corrupts good character.” (NIV). Do your friends corrupt your morals? Do you allow your friends to corrupt your morals?  It is important to choose wisely who you allow to influence you. We are humans and are easily corrupted by the company we keep. We need to prevent others bad influences from causing us to become a bad influence on ourselves and others.  Friends can either help us or harm us. Only You can choose the company you keep! God made the statement in His Word, the Bible, which proclaims " Do not be misled:  “Bad company corrupts good character.”  (NIV). This statement reminds us that we are a building board for Jesus and we must not Waiver and stumble off the path that God has set for us. Bad company can have a great influence on our walk with God. It can trick us into thinking that we can keep the wrong type of company and continue o...

God's Love!

God's love is Deep, High, Wide and Long! It holds such greatness that it cannot be fully understood! Ephesians 3: 18-19 says, 18   " And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.   19  May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God". (NLT) Think about the way you love others. Do you love some and not love others? Is your love selective? Is it wide? Does it stretch out to those you do not know? Do you love those who have done you wrong? Read  Matthew 5: 44   God's love is one that extends, stretches and spreads across the whole world. It includes everyone and everything that He created. God created the world; He made us in His own image (Genesis 1: 27) and He loves us. God's  love for you is unconditional! Whether you like it or not, or want to...
