Try it again... Try it With ME!

So many of us have attempted to do so many things ourselves but we have failed. The reason you failed when you attempted that thing is that you attempted it on your own. You didn't Consult or Discuss it with God first. You went along and did it by yourself, thinking that you could do it and achieve it by yourself, but you couldn't and Failed!

This is where you successfully played yourself.

Making decisions without God in the centre or consulting Him for His help Support and Guidance are almost like speeding in a car without a seatbelt, at 170mph. Yes, you will get an exhilarating feeling, but you will eventually crash and realise that it was both silly and stupid to think that being in a speeding car without a seatbelt was safe, sensible, and the right thing to do. God wants you to take the back seat! Let Him reveal to you His Amazing plans for your life.

God is Greater than our plans. He is Greater than the decisions we make. He is Greater and Greatly to be Praised!! God knows what you will choose, He knows what you'll do before you do it. He knows when you will ultimately surrender and seek Him and His Will. God wants you to trust Him! Many of you know this, yet you continue to anticipate that you can do it alone, with the belief that you can do it on your own, on your own terms, when you want; the reality of it is 'It Simply Will Not Work Out, Without God!' 🙅

The bible says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His Will in all you do, and He will show you which Path to take". (Proverbs 3: 5-6)(NLT).

How do you make decisions in life? Whether it is making a decision on what to do regarding a relationship, friendships, or a family matter, how do you execute God's Will and His plan for you and all areas of your life?

Well...

You can PRAY. Remember Philippians 4: 6 Prayer is your greatest tool and source of help in life. Prayer is God's gift to us, His children. In my previous blog post, 'The impact of Prayer', I stated that "Prayer should be your First go to, in any given situation! This includes decision making and the life choices you make. Ask God: 'Lord is this something you want me to take on, is this something that will show others your goodness? Is this the right career path? Are these friends good for me? Is this relationship right?

Ask God for His direction when making decisions, when you do this you can avoid that heartache, that broken relationship/friendship, wrong road/path, wrongdoing, and many many other problems. When you do this, you will see God's perfect plan for your life, you will see that everything will begin to fall into place, everything that you do will have a purpose and you will begin to live your life in accordance to His Will!

Pray to God for guidance. as well study His Word, the B. B, Beautiful Bible, to view what it says about the decisions we make and the choices we are faced with when making these. Proverbs is a book in the B. B. that was written to give instructions, give insight, and wisdom to All who seek such things. Proverbs 1: 1-4 and 2 Timothy 3: 16-17 both teach us about God's scripture.

Looking at these eight tests for decision making, do you or have you put into practice any of these? How can you implement these into all aspects of your life?

The Season of Loss

How do you handle Loss? The Bible says, 8 " O my people, trust in him at all times.    Pour out your heart to him,  for God is our refuge". (Psalm 62: 8) (NLT).  As we face inevitable losses in life, we need to remember that we have the ability to pick up and put ourselves back together, and begin to get on with our lives once again. When we experience loss we may get these feelings: fear, depression, worry, guilt and anger. If these emotions are ignored, it may take longer to recover and move on from your grief. This is why it is healthy and okay to experience all these emotions, some people experience these emotions at once, others may be staggered. Everyone goes through them, in relation to Loss, no matter what they may say. People who deal with grief and pretend that everything is okay and that life can be lived as normal, will ultimately struggle with the stress of many emotions. This struggle can last for months or years and y ears to come. Jesus said, 4 "...

Conflict... Resolving conflict

How do you resolve conflict in your life? 15 " A gentle answer  turns away wrath,  but a harsh word stirs up anger."  (Proverbs 15:1) (NIV). Why is it that when someone gets angry we also get angry, when people raise or shout at us, we usually shout or raise our voice back at them. By mirroring their actions, you are allowing the situation to escalate ad get out of hand, soon it becomes too late. " When other people raise their voice, lower yours — in your marriage, in your parenting, in your friendships, and at work. That’s called strength under control." (Pastor Rick Warren). When you oppose to what someone has says, take a step back and reevaluate the situation for a brief moment, come back, and handle the situation in the best way. This could be done by simply walking away. This deescalates the anger. The Bible declares that, 4 " If your boss is angry at you, don’t quit!  A quiet spirit can overcome even great mistakes." ( Ecclesiastes 10:4) (NL...

Bad Company Corrupts Good Character!

Yes, there is a need to avoid Bad Company. 1 Corinthians 15: 33 says this " Do not be misled:  “Bad company corrupts good character.” (NIV). Do your friends corrupt your morals? Do you allow your friends to corrupt your morals?  It is important to choose wisely who you allow to influence you. We are humans and are easily corrupted by the company we keep. We need to prevent others bad influences from causing us to become a bad influence on ourselves and others.  Friends can either help us or harm us. Only You can choose the company you keep! God made the statement in His Word, the Bible, which proclaims " Do not be misled:  “Bad company corrupts good character.”  (NIV). This statement reminds us that we are a building board for Jesus and we must not Waiver and stumble off the path that God has set for us. Bad company can have a great influence on our walk with God. It can trick us into thinking that we can keep the wrong type of company and continue o...
