Your Plan... God's Plan

"We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16: 9  (NLT) 2019 is right around the corner. Precisely 2 days away! This New Year holds so many blessings, opened doors, happiness, peace, and opportunities that you could not dream or imagine. Are you ready to receive these?! God has such a Monumental Plan for your life that others, as well yourself might not be able to/can't comprehend! God has a plan for your life. He has a  good plan for your life, Never ever forget that!  "And we know that God causes everything to work together  for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them". Romans 8:28 (NLT) God doesn't promise that everything in your life would be good. For example, nothing in this world works perfectly; our bodies are broken unless we would not need doctors or nurses, our minds are broken it doesn't always think the right things or in the right way. Nothing in this world, on ...

The Love of Money $$

The Bible clearly states... "...For the love of money is the first step toward all kinds of sin. Some people have even turned away from God because of their love for it, and as a result, have pierced themselves with many sorrows".1 Timothy 6:10 (Living Bible). Your life doesn't revolve around how much you make or earn. So many people in this world lean on money to make them happy and meet their needs daily, it leads to unhappiness and destruction.  Instead, we should use the resources God has blessed us with to generously advance the Kingdom of God and the welfare of others. It's not that money needs to be alway on your mind when sin happens. Paul meant in 1 Timothy 6 that if your heart loves money and what it can buy you and where it can take you; you are simply placing Money where God should be. God can take you to places beyond your imagination that money can't. God should not be second in any area of your life. He needs to be and always should be first; ...

Contentment... Are You Satisfied With What You Have or Do You Always Want More?

In life, we must be more  Grateful and Thankful than anything else. This is because everything that is given to us is a Gift and a Blessing from God. Every breath we take is a gift given from God and we would not be able to take our next breath if God didn't give it to us. Ecclesiastes (6: 9) states, " Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless—like chasing the wind". (NLT) Do you compare what you have to what other's have? Why? What causes the feeling of envy? Do you find yourself competing with others and what they have? Why? For instance, do you say to yourself 'I want that handbag, it looks good on her. I want one for myself'. Or 'Why does she have a boyfriend/fiance/husband and I don't'. Or 'Why am I going through what I'm going through. Why can't I have a life like hers/his?'. Why did she get a better grade and we completed the assignment together?'. ...

So what can you do?

Should we really retaliate when we get angry?  26 " A quarrelsome person starts fights      as easily as hot embers light charcoal or fire lights wood ." ( Proverbs 26: 21) (NLT). Retaliating is a negative trait. It keeps things going on and on; it doesn't resolve anything. All it does is escalate the problem at hand. Earlier in the post I discussed that to avoid anger, you could refuse to be offended and ignore people's words that may upset you. Most people do like to argue and cause debates which then, if not careful, cases upsets. At times they use conflict to get your attention, to get your mind thinking, which causes you to question what they have said. For example, someone at work makes a remark that you strongly disagree with. What do you do? Well, simply, you could make a statement which could causes the fire to get started. Or you could refrain yourself from making that statement and not give in, because you may or may not know truly what type of pers...
