Your Circumstances and Your FAITH!

Happy New Year Guys!! 2018 Will Be A Prosperous Year! In Jesus Name. Amen 🙏

It's been a lengthy while since my last blog post. It was never my intention to spontaneously stop blogging, towards the end of the year 2017. It Is A New Year and I Can Say that I Am Back For This New Season of God's Awesomeness and Greatness. Let's make 2018 a year of Recognition, Appreciation, and Acknowledgement for the Word of God, His Power, Goodness and Love 🙌

And the word says: I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. You will seek me, and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart.  Jeremiah 29:11-13 (GNT).

First of all what does the word Circumstance actually mean. Dictionary.com defines it as 'the condition or state of a person with respect to income and material welfare'. Despite of this definition, your circumstance is what you think of it. So, it can be what's hindering you from a certain area in your life, hindering your progress, accomplishments etc...

But the Big Questions are:

1. What have you been doing about your circumstances?

2. Who is watching over your circumstances? You or God?

3. How strong is your Faith when circumstances appear?

4. In the midst of the adversity, how do you withstand the test?

There is one thing that we inevitably forget when are faced with adversity, and that is God is BIGGER than our circumstances!

When going through a situation or a condition so adverse and it seems like every possible way out is hopeless, impossible and you kind of, in a way, become pessimistic, always thinking the that the worst possible thing will happen.

But,

God remains the same, His nature is unchanging. Remember, your circumstance does not change who God is nor His character. He Will and Always be For You, even when you completely feel hopeless and you don't think He is for you. Do not let your circumstance obliterate God's Unconditional unfailing Love for you. He is an eternal God; He cares for you, He is always with you, He undoubtedly knows what you go through, and He most definitely does not leave you when you need Him the most. Job 10:12 reminds us of God's unfailing Love.

My Testimony:

Despite all the many difficult and troubling situations I was experiencing, I didn't for one second forget how far The Lord had brought me and the strength He gave me in the midst of it all.

I reminded myself that God certainly knew what I was going through. I knew He had a plan, "...plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.  Jeremiah 29:11 (GNT). And in that He certainly did. I knew that regardless of my circumstance I was not going to be overcome, burdened, or be disturbed by them or let my Faith be weakened. So, I gave my circumstances to God. I reminded myself that although I was going through what seemed like the most difficult thing, God was using this to take me to a deeper level of spiritual maturity. I trusted that God will bring me out and keep his promises, and so He Has.

My Faith kept me and I rose above and conquered ever single adversity that I faced. Matthew 11: 28 and 1 Peter 5:7 and Deuteronomy 33:27 are verses that constantly reminded me that I serve a God who is Intentional. Who is my Refuge; my Strength; my Support, Answers my Prayers!

"Don't let your faith be paralyzed by your Circumstance"- Pastor Michael Todd (Instagram: iammiketodd).

For anyone going through hard times, difficulties, problems, God has every single thing under control! 'God doesn't give you what you can't handle. God helps you handle what you are given'. There is a Massive difference in that statement. Until you understand that, you'll continue to question God and why the things in your life continually happen. Remember, when you are weak that's when you are made strong in God. Declare it over your life! It's Not over! God will come through. Do not be stagnant in your circumstance, but depend on God because He Will Bring You Through It. Strengthen your faith in the midst of what you're going through.

Regardless of what you're going through God will and is able to Bring You Through It❗❕

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for answering prayers. Thank you for hearing our cries, our deepest cries Lords. Thank you for not abandoning us in the lonely hours. Thank you for the word which reveals to us the truth. Thank you for the support you give us, Love you show us, and strength you provide us when we are weakened. Lord, thank you for your unchanging character. Lord, help us to remember your promises. Help us to remember our circumstance does not compare to who You Are. In Jesus Name. Amen!

Try it again... Try it With ME!

So many of us have attempted to do so many things ourselves but we have failed. The reason you failed when you attempted that thing is that you attempted it on your own. You didn't Consult or Discuss it with God first. You went along and did it by yourself, thinking that you could do it and achieve it by yourself, but you couldn't and Failed! This is where you successfully played yourself. Think of it like this. Making decisions without God in the centre or consulting Him for His help Support and Guidance are almost like speeding in a car without a seatbelt, at 170mph. Yes, you will get an exhilarating feeling, but you will eventually crash and realise that it was both silly and stupid to think that being in a speeding car without a seatbelt was safe, sensible, and the right thing to do. God wants you to take the back seat ! Let Him reveal to you His Amazing plans for your life. God is Greater than our plans. He is Greater than the decisions we make. He is Greater and G

God's Love!

God's love is Deep, High, Wide and Long! It holds such greatness that it cannot be fully understood! Ephesians 3: 18-19 says, 18   " And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.   19  May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God". (NLT) Think about the way you love others. Do you love some and not love others? Is your love selective? Is it wide? Does it stretch out to those you do not know? Do you love those who have done you wrong? Read  Matthew 5: 44   God's love is one that extends, stretches and spreads across the whole world. It includes everyone and everything that He created. God created the world; He made us in His own image (Genesis 1: 27) and He loves us. God's  love for you is unconditional! Whether you like it or not, or want to believe it

Having a Better relationship with God

"They were to look for God... and find Him because He is not far from each one of us. It is in Him that we live and move and keep on living". Acts 17:27 (NLV). You know that you want a better relationship with God, you just don't know how. God is always available to you if you "..seek Him with all your heart" (Deuteronomy 4:29). You personally need to make time to read God's Word every day ! It might not be easy but it is worth it! Between the busyness of life e.g work, school activities, church, volunteering etc.. You need to make the time to be in His Word. Just You and Him. It clearly declares in the Bible "Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty, is divided between God and the world". James 4:8 (NLT). God wants us to know him! That's a fact! Here are some tips on how you can have a Better relationship with God: 1. Schedule God's Word- Write a s
