"Let Your Light Shine"

Will you choose to remain the same or make a change? 26  “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  (Matthew 19:26) (NIV). Change is about making choices. Thinking of change or desiring to change will not generate change into your life. You have to choose to change.  It requires a choice. Ask yourself where do I see myself in 2, 3, 4 years time? Will I be better than I am a year from now? Am I going to be more mature, healthier, or happier? Am I going to be like God wants me to be? These will only happen if you choose to make that change. Do you want to change your situation, your life or are you content with the way things are? Why do we think that God is instantly going to change us, we must have faith in him? He is waiting on you, for you to say that 'Yes, I am willing to make changes in my life Lord'. You may have tried to deal with a problem or situation and have failed. Trust isn't something that we can easily do. It seems easier to trust God after getting a new job or something great happens to you, but what about when things aren't going right?  Why do we have that bit of doubt about trusting him; doubting his ability, that he is able. He is God alone, so let him work on you.  We sometimes forget, through the struggles that we face, God is and will always be there with us. Depend on him because he will never leave your side. Sometimes we think we are in control of our life, then things don't go to plan, one thing or the other happens and we can no longer handle the situation. Why do we let ourselves forget who is Truly in control? God knows this, he knows that we try to take on everything and control everything that comes from life but he knows that we are incapable and cannot do this. We cannot control every single aspect of our life without feeling overwhelmed and defeated.  This is where choice comes in. We may tell ourselves that 'yes I am strong, I can do this, I will not let this take control', but relief from the feeling of the world on our shoulders begins with letting go and letting God!  Let go, and know!
